Jewellery courses in Hobart, Tasmania, are available at the Clarence Campus of the Tasmanian Polytechnic.

Become a Jewellery Designer/Maker, work in the jewellery trade or establish your own studio or workshop.

The aim of this studio is to produce jewellers who are competent in a range of techniques using a variety of materials such as brass, copper, sterling silver, titanium, precious and semi precious stones, organic materials, plastics and glass.

Students explore various techniques and designs, produce a limited range of creative good quality work, and are encouraged to develop independent work habits.

The course is project based and covers a wide range of contemporary and traditional jewellery techniques. Emphasis is on well designed and made wearable and/or decorative products.
